Football Match - 15th October, 1917
The invaluable fount of knowledge Dne1 has suggested that this photograph may be of the team in the football match mentioned on 15 October, with Siggers possibly sitting in the front row at the right.

I would be interested if you think this could be Siggers - compared with your photos of him. The hair parting has changed but other features look a bit similar to me. White shorts also .. possibly an officer who took his sports kit?? I may be quite wrong..
ReplyDeleteDisappointingly, I reckon Siggers has a much longer, rather more unusual face than the bloke in your photograph. Mind you I'm no facial recognition expert.
